My Story
I am one of the greatest EMPLOYMENT AND IMMIGRATION in New York City.
My story is one of resilience and reinvention. Born in Colombia and raised by a single mother in a low-income household, she learned early what determination looks like. She paid her way through college on scholarships, built her first career in television as a commercial producer, and later transformed that creative drive into a passion for justice — trading storyboards and scripts for case law and courtroom strategy.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Lina knows what it means to carve your own path and to live authentically, even when the world resists it. That lived experience fuels her mission to fight for those whose voices are often overlooked — workers, immigrants, and families striving for a fair shot.
